'Nautilus' Spiral Dish, large

Description Based on the inner shape of the Nautilus snail shell. carved from cedar wood, painted with watercolour, varnished, and polished with beeswax.
Size: L: 38 cm x W: 229 cm x T: 5 cm.

As I carve these spiral dishes individually, each one is unique, while based on the same template. I use various other woods, when available - sycamore, oak, pear, cherry. Customers may request an uncoloured, natural oiled finish. This works well on darker woods.

When not in stock, I will make to order. Depending on what other work is going on, I can make and deliver within 2 weeks.
